These earrings are one-offs. Once sold they will be removed and new ones added.
There is a lovely story about this jewellery range. They are handmade in Nepal by young women who have been rescued from sex trafficking. I met several young ladies when I was there in 2017 as they reintegrate into their new lives and various charities come alongside to teach them life and business skills.
I met girls learning to become legal secretaries, waitresses and chefs to go into hospitality, management for running a business and ladies who are learning the art of jewellery making.
I love the serendipity that I named my store Freedom Road, and I'm thrilled that the sale of these handmade, nickel-free earrings goes directly back to them via our ongoing partnership with Yes Helping Hands - who also make the cashmere scarves.
No two pieces are the same, so I can't wait to get back to the Howick Market as soon as levels allow so you can see them! In the meantime, here are a few pairs.
